The United States launched a series of airstrikes on Houthi sites in Hodeidah, with Houthi media reporting that "13 American airstrikes hit the port and airport of Hodeidah." Earlier, the Houthi group in Yemen announced on Saturday an increase in the death toll due to American military airstrikes on the Ras Isa oil port, under Houthi control. Houthi-affiliated media confirmed the killing of at least 80 people and injuring 150 others in the bombing of the port located in western Yemen. American aircraft carried out intense airstrikes on Houthi sites and camps south and west of the Yemeni capital Sanaa, and in the provinces of Al-Jawf and Saada on Friday evening. The airstrikes focused on Houthi camps in Al-Haffa and Bani Hashish areas in Sanaa, with Houthi media reporting that American aircraft carried out 15 airstrikes that night on Houthi sites in Sanaa, Al-Jawf, and Saada. The U.S. military stated on Friday that the aircraft carriers "Carl Vinson" and "Harry Truman" are operating around the clock. The U.S. Central Command wrote in a post on the "Ex" platform: "The aircraft carriers Truman and Carl Vinson continue their operations around the clock against the Iranian-backed Houthi group." Meanwhile, the Houthi group announced on Saturday that they had shot down an American MQ-9 Reaper drone in the skies of the Yemeni capital Sanaa. A statement issued by the group's military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, mentioned that the MQ-9 Reaper drone was shot down while carrying out what he described as "hostile missions in the skies of Sanaa province" using a locally made surface-to-air missile. It is worth noting that the MQ-9 drone is used for reconnaissance and precision attacks and is one of the most important drones in the U.S. fleet.
