Israeli media reported today, Saturday, that there were "two serious security incidents" in the south and east of the Gaza Strip, resulting in injuries to the Israeli army during clashes with fighters from the Al-Qassam Brigades. The reports indicated that one of the incidents occurred in Khan Yunis in the south of the Strip, while the other took place in the Shuja'iya neighborhood in the east of Gaza City.

Sources added that military evacuation helicopters rushed to Tel Hashomer, Beilinson, Soroka, and Ichilov hospitals, while intense clashes continued within the Strip, described as a "face-to-face" confrontation between Israeli forces and Palestinian fighters.

In turn, the Israeli army announced that one of its soldiers was injured during the ongoing battles in the northern part of the Strip. In a separate report, the "Walla" website reported that a soldier was injured in the north of Gaza, while two other soldiers were injured during confrontations in the south.

Earlier, the army announced the injury of two soldiers in a northern Strip clash due to a tank being targeted with an anti-tank missile on Friday night, and later announced the serious injury of a tank commander during a separate incident in daylight hours.
