Civil Defense: Extinguishing forest fires in the Kart forests in the northern countryside of Latakia

The Syrian Civil Defense said today, Tuesday, that firefighting teams were able to extinguish the forest fires in the Kart forests near the town of Salma in the northern countryside of Latakia, where they controlled it and stopped its spread.

It added that the teams continue to cool the sites completely and monitor the area to prevent any new outbreak of fires due to the increasing wind speed.
