Britain renews its support for justice in Syria.. Ann Snow praises the courage of investigators and calls for time for reconciliation

Snow's statement came in response to an official post by the British mission in Syria via the "X" platform, where British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Falconer, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Syrian investigators working within the International Commission for Justice and Accountability, who have worked to document war crimes and serious violations over the years.
The British post highlighted the UK's commitment to supporting investigations into war crimes, affirming London’s continued support for efforts aimed at achieving justice and holding those responsible accountable.
In a subsequent tweet, Snow wrote: "These investigators have worked quietly and courageously to gather crucial evidence of the Assad regime's crimes. Thank you, the UK remains committed to holding accountable those who commit the most serious crimes in Syria."
This position comes as part of increasing international support for the path of transitional justice in Syria, which is considered one of the pillars of the new political phase, as the Syrian government seeks to establish national reconciliation, enhance transparency, and hold accountable those responsible for past violations, within the framework of building a state of law and institutions.
