Bloomberg: America and Russia are seeking a ceasefire in Ukraine that serves Moscow's interests

Bloomberg reported today, Friday, that Washington and Moscow are seeking to reach an agreement to end the war in Ukraine that would solidify Russia's occupation of the territories it seized during its military invasion.

The agency quoted informed sources as saying that American and Russian officials are working to reach an agreement regarding those territories in preparation for an upcoming summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin next week.

Meanwhile, the White House denied Bloomberg's report and described it as speculation.
