Barcelona expresses interest in signing young Syrian player

The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Barcelona's management met with the player's agent, who was born in Kuwait to a Syrian family, last Thursday to inquire about his current situation.
Bardagji, 19, is expected to end his contract with his current team in December, but if Barcelona wants to avoid competition with other clubs interested in signing the player and secure his services during the current summer transfer window, they will have to pay a small amount ranging between 2 to 3 million euros.
According to "Anadolu", Bardagji's contract with his current team Copenhagen ends in December.
The newspaper stated, "For a small amount, Barcelona can acquire the services of a player who has previously been on the radar of Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, and Bayer Leverkusen".
In late 2023, Bardagji was linked to a move to Barcelona, but a serious knee injury kept him off the field for 10 months, delaying this plan.
However, Barcelona has renewed its interest in signing the player after receiving medical reports confirming his full recovery from the injury, especially since he has been playing regularly with Copenhagen since March 31 and contributed to the team winning the Danish league title.
Barcelona sees Bardagji as a highly talented player and a separate option from the deal for Nico Williams, as confirmed by the Italian journalist specializing in player transfers, Fabrizio Romano.
