American Special Envoy to Syria Thomas Barak expressed his strong appreciation for the efforts of constructive dialogue to enhance integration and unity in Syria.
In a post on the "X" platform, Barak said: "The Syrian government's strong commitment to inclusivity under President Ahmed Shar'a's leadership, in addition to the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Forces led by Mazloum Abdi, is a cornerstone for the stability of Syria, one army, one government, and one state."
Barak added: "We greatly appreciate the constructive dialogue to enhance integration and unity in Syria, and look forward to continuing the discussions for a secure future."
Earlier today, the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, confirmed in statements to Al Arabiya that Unified Syria will have one army, one flag, noting that channels of communication with the Syrian government are open daily, describing his meeting with President Ahmed Shar'a as positive.
