The Bahrain News Agency reported today, Wednesday, that companies from the kingdom and others from the United States have signed a series of agreements worth around 17 billion dollars aimed at enhancing economic relations and cooperation in key sectors.
This includes agreements in the fields of aviation, technology, industry, and investment.
The signing ceremony took place during the visit of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to Washington late on Tuesday.

A White House official said Bahrain is expected to sign an agreement under this investment between Gulf Air, Boeing, and General Electric valued at around seven billion dollars to purchase 12 aircraft with the option to purchase six additional aircraft.
The official added that the deal also includes the sale of 40 engines from General Electric.
This comes following investment agreements signed by Trump during his visit to the Middle East in May.
