In a shocking incident that shook Danville city in America, city council member Lee Vogler (38 years old) was violently attacked inside his office after an unknown person poured flammable liquid on him and set him on fire.
Local police confirmed that the attacker entered Vogler's office, where he also works for a local magazine, and confronted him directly before carrying out the attack.
After they left the scene, the attacker, a 29-year-old named Schuyler Michael Bock Hayes, set fire to the victim, causing him serious burns that required immediate transfer to the burn unit at a specialized hospital in North Carolina.
