After the circulating news about the formation of a military council in Sweida, the Joint Operations Room in Sweida issued a statement denying these reports.
The statement issued by the Joint Operations Room in Sweida stated: "Recently, an invitation to a meeting of the so-called Military Council of Sweida has emerged, specifying the location and date of this meeting as 24/2/2025. The Joint Operations Room in Sweida considers this council illegal, and the statement only represents its creators, who bear full responsibility for any consequences resulting from this meeting, and Allah is the one behind the intention."
