The health condition of the Egyptian artist Angham has seen a concerning development in the past few hours, just days after undergoing delicate surgery in Munich, Germany.
A close source to the artist revealed that the medical team noticed a decline in her immune system activity, prompting them to take urgent medical measures to improve her condition.
The source indicated that Angham emerged from the operating room after the recent surgery, which aimed to remove part of her pancreas, and was immediately transferred to intensive care, where she spent several critical hours.
Later, the doctors decided to isolate her in a private room in the hospital as a precautionary measure, due to the weakness of her immune system at that sensitive stage, which is common in such complex surgeries, especially those related to the pancreas or liver.
The source explained that the medical isolation was due to fears of her being exposed to any viral infection that her immune system might not be able to resist at this time.
It was clarified that the medical team subjected Angham to an intensive treatment protocol aimed at supporting and enhancing her immunity, noting that her return to Cairo is contingent upon her improvement and complete stabilization, as she will first move to her temporary residence in Germany before returning to Egypt.
It is worth mentioning that Angham underwent a laparoscopic surgery two weeks ago to remove a cyst on her pancreas, but the medical tests that followed the surgery revealed the necessity of a new surgical intervention to remove the remaining part of the cyst, along with part of the pancreas itself, which she recently underwent.
It should be noted that recent days have seen rumors about her being diagnosed with cancer; however, her manager categorically denied those reports, confirming that Angham is only going through a sensitive recovery period following her recent surgery.
