Indian Company Talks About Shipping Explosive Vehicles for Non-Military Purposes to Russia

The Indian company said it shipped explosive chemical vehicles for military use worth $1.4 million to Russia in December, today Saturday, stating that it complies with Indian laws and that the compound it shipped is intended for civilian industrial purposes.
Reuters reported on July 24 that Ideal Detonators Private Limited shipped the compound known as "HMX" or "Octogen" to two Russian explosive manufacturers despite US threats to impose sanctions on any entity supporting Russian military efforts in Ukraine.
Russian explosives manufacturer Promsynts is one of the Russian companies listed in Indian customs data as the recipient of this compound. An official in the Ukrainian security apparatus said the Russian company has ties to the military, and Ukraine launched a drone attack in April on a factory owned by the company.
