Among them is a suspect accused of assaulting an officer with a 'sandwich' .. Federal security arrests 45 people in Washington

The Director of the American Federal Bureau of Investigation, Kash Patel, announced the execution of 45 arrests in the capital Washington in one night, following a widespread deployment of federal security forces in the city.
Patel explained that the arrests included 29 cases related to immigration violations and 16 cases related to violent crimes, in addition to seizing three firearms. The detainees faced various charges, including possession of child pornography, possession of illegal weapons, drug trafficking, and assaulting federal officers.
Among the detainees was Sean Charles Dan (37 years old), who was accused of throwing a sandwich from a 'Subway' restaurant at one of the 'Customs and Border Protection' officers, while shouting: 'Why are you here? I don’t want you in my city!'.
The Attorney General for the District of Columbia, Janine Piro, commented on the incident saying in a video clip: 'He thought it was funny, but he is now facing a felony charge of assaulting a police officer. We support the police to the end, so put your sandwich somewhere else.'
The heavy presence of federal security in the capital has sparked protests among residents, while Trump administration officials emphasized that any violation of the law will be met with prosecution.
