The Amman Chamber of Commerce confirmed today, Saturday, that Syrian goods will be allowed back into the Jordanian market, citing a high level of trust in the quality of Syrian products. They emphasized that "Jordanian markets are incomplete without their Syrian counterparts."

The Chamber's president, Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq, explained in a statement released today that signing a twinning agreement with the Damascus Chamber of Commerce during the Jordanian economic delegation's visit to Syria reflects the depth of cooperation and coordination between the two parties for the benefit of both sister countries.

Tawfiq considered the twinning as a sincere message reflecting Jordan's continuous support for Syria, effectively contributing to achieving strategic goals and enhancing mutual economic interests between both sides.

Tawfiq pointed out that the twinning represents an important economic dimension by strengthening business relations between Jordan and Syria, promoting unity and integration in facing economic and social challenges.

He emphasized that Jordan has a genuine and strategic interest in restoring trade relations with Syria to their former status, as Syria represents the economic and geographic depth of the region. The Jordanian private sector, especially the commercial sector, is ready to provide any services that contribute to activating mutual cooperation.
