In light of the harsh conditions imposed on the Gaza Strip, medical aid funded by the UAE has entered.
The Emirati step comes at a time when the sector is suffering from a worsening shortage of medical supplies and equipment due to the genocide being committed by Israel for more than 21 months, coinciding with the tightening of border closures.
A medical source in Gaza stated that a medical convoy consisting of 19 trucks of medicines and medical supplies entered the sector over the course of Friday and Saturday, through the World Health Organization.
The source, who requested anonymity, added that the UAE funded this convoy as part of the “Noble Knight 3” operation.
