Amid Diplomatic Tensions .. France Stops Renewing Security Visas for Israeli Airline

The Jerusalem Post reported that French authorities have stopped renewing work visas for security personnel of the Israeli airline "El Al" based in Paris for nearly six months.

Informed sources explained that the French decision comes amid escalating tensions between Paris and Tel Aviv, against the backdrop of the war being waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip.


These security personnel, who work within Israeli diplomatic missions, previously obtained permits allowing them to reside and work legally in France.

With the cessation of renewals, some employees have found themselves in an illegal residency situation, while others have been forced to return to Israel or obtain temporary diplomatic visas through the Israeli embassy, granting them a limited time to stay in the country.
