The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the killing of a leader in ISIS, Diaa Zoubaa Maslah Al-Hardan, along with two of his sons affiliated with the organization, in the early hours of Friday in the city of Al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo.
The command said: "We conducted an airstrike in the city of Al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo this morning."
It added: "We killed the prominent leader in ISIS, Diaa Zoubaa Maslah Al-Hardan, and two of his sons affiliated with the organization."
It mentioned that "these individuals from ISIS posed a threat to US forces, the coalition, and the new Syrian government."
