President Donald Trump has announced that more details about the situation in Gaza will be revealed within the next twenty-four hours as part of a new proposal regarding the possibility of a ceasefire and the release of detainees.
In statements from the White House, Trump confirmed that there is much discussion about Gaza at the moment, and clarified that there will be a forthcoming announcement regarding future actions.

Reuters reported that the United States is considering forming an interim government in Gaza led by an American official, with the assistance of Palestinian experts to manage the sector's affairs.
Sources reveal that there are high-level consultations between the United States and Israel regarding the possibility of Washington assuming temporary administration of Gaza after the war, until disarming the sector and achieving stability.
This administration is expected to remain under U.S. supervision, with no specific timeline for its duration, as it will be determined based on developments on the ground.

The proposals being prepared also include opening safe passages for humanitarian aid distribution in Gaza.
Sources confirmed that mediators are working on crystallizing these ideas before Trump's anticipated visit to the region.
They emphasized that the United States will be responsible for the entry and distribution of aid, rejecting the idea of Israel being responsible for this role.

In these efforts, Egypt and Qatar issued a joint statement reaffirming their continuous and unified efforts to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
They indicated close coordination with the United States to reach an agreement that would end the humanitarian tragedy and ensure the protection of civilians.

It is worth noting that the war in Gaza erupted after an attack by Hamas on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, resulting in the death of 1200 Israelis and the detention of 251 others.
Since then, the Israeli campaign in Gaza has led to the death of over 52,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, and the destruction of a large part of the sector.
