America: Medical helicopter crashes, crew injured.

According to authorities in the U.S. state of North Carolina, 3 people were transported to the hospital after a medical helicopter crashed in a forest near one of the state's airports.
In a statement by Novant Health, it was explained that the three crew members aboard the "Airlift" helicopter on Monday evening, 24/02/2025, underwent medical evaluation, confirming no patients were on board at the time of the incident. In another statement issued on Tuesday, 25/02/2025, the company stated that the crew consisted of a pilot, a registered critical care nurse, and a critical care paramedic, noting that they were in stable condition.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the helicopter, a "Eurocopter EC-135," crashed near Wilmington International Airport around 07:50 p.m. It had departed from the Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington en route to its base at Albert J. Ellis Airport in the Richlands area of Onslow County.
Authorities also confirmed that the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the circumstances of the incident.
