Indian police announced the death of all passengers on Indian Airlines flight AI171, which was heading from Ahmedabad to Gatwick Airport in London, with a total of 242 people on board.

According to the Indian Express newspaper, the aircraft, a Boeing 787-8, was carrying 169 Indians, 53 British, 7 Portuguese, in addition to one Canadian passenger.

Authorities stated that the plane crashed minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad Airport, with no survivors among the passengers.
