The Saudi Press Agency reported that His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, received a phone call today, Thursday, from the Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar'a.

The agency mentioned that the Crown Prince welcomed the arrangements and measures announced by President Al-Shar'a to contain the recent events in Syria, expressing the Kingdom's confidence in the ability of the Syrian government, led by His Excellency, to achieve security and stability for the sisterly Syria.

According to the agency, Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised the efforts made by President Al-Shar'a to continue Syria on its correct path, ensuring the preservation of Syria's unity, the safety of its territories, the enhancement of its national unity, the solidarity of all spectra of the Syrian people, and preventing any signs of sedition aimed at undermining its security and stability.

The Crown Prince also emphasized the importance of Syria continuing what it has started at all levels to achieve progress and prosperity that the Syrian people aspire to, affirming the Kingdom's consistent position in supporting Syria, standing by its side, and rejecting any actions that affect civil and social peace in general and in detail, as reported by the agency.

The Crown Prince reiterated the Kingdom's declared position in condemning the blatant Israeli attacks on Syrian territories and interference in its internal affairs, emphasizing the necessity of international community support for the Syrian government in facing these challenges and preventing any external interventions in Syrian internal affairs under any pretext.

The agency stated that Al-Shar'a expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for its supportive positions in aiding Syria and appreciation for the efforts and support provided by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in supporting security and stability in Syria and the region.
