After Club World Cup Final Brawl, Enrique Threatened with Suspension

Media reports confirmed today, Monday, that coach Luis Enrique may face a severe penalty following the events that took place in the final match of the Club World Cup.
The Spanish newspaper Sport reported that the Spanish coach lost his temper and attacked the player Joao Pedro after Paris Saint-Germain's loss in the Club World Cup final against Chelsea 0-3.
After the final whistle in a match that escalated into extra time after several violent tackles, a brawl broke out in the middle of the field between Luis Enrique and the Brazilian player.
The Spanish coach rushed to an argument area between Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Joao Pedro, who fell to the ground after being hit by a Paris Saint-Germain coach.
Luis Enrique then struck a blow to a Chelsea forward, first hitting his chest and then his face, sparking a debate between the teams for several minutes before the situation calmed down.
The incident was undoubtedly one of the most regrettable scenes in the Club World Cup, and it may have serious consequences.
Referee expert Iturralde Gonzalez was quoted as saying, "Luis Enrique may face a severe penalty, even though the tournament has ended, but FIFA will impose a penalty at the appropriate time."
He explained, "He may be banned from coaching, especially since it is forbidden to touch the opponent's face."
On the other hand, Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, emphasized after the Club World Cup final that his intention in the brawl where he attacked Chelsea forward Joao Pedro was to "separate the players" and prevent the escalation of the fight.
