After decades of suspension...resuming the pumping of oil derivatives through Banias pumps.

The company's director, Mr. Amjad Mortada, stated to journalists that these lines had been inactive and out of service for decades. This action is considered a qualitative step, as no similar pumping operation has been recorded for several decades, reflecting a significant development in the technical and administrative capabilities of the sector. He emphasized that the resumption of pumping operations is part of the continuous efforts to develop work mechanisms and improve the efficiency of distributing petroleum products.
Mortada pointed out the rehabilitation, maintenance, and activation of the lines to put them into service, which will accelerate the process of pumping derivatives and secure materials for all provinces. After rehabilitating these lines, they have become technically ready to carry out pumping operations according to each province's needs permanently.
Mortada stressed that starting the pumping operations of petroleum products has significant economic benefits, as pumping through pipelines provides the material with maximum speed, reduces transportation costs and expenses, as well as risks and other possibilities. He noted that these lines are used to pump gasoline, diesel, and kerosene to and from the region.
