The "France Press" agency reported from informed sources today, Tuesday, that Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to hold a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Moscow.
The "France Press" agency stated that Putin suggested a possible meeting with Zelensky in Moscow, aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, according to the content of a phone conversation between U.S. President Donald Trump and Putin, which two sources were privy to.
One of the sources told the agency: "Putin talked about Moscow" during their call on Monday, adding that Zelensky responded with "no".
Trump had said on Tuesday that he does not want to waste time and just wants to end the Ukrainian war, indicating that "there will be some form of security guarantees for Ukraine but not through NATO," adding that Europe is ready to send troops to Ukrainian territory.
