This morning, Saturday, August 16, the humanitarian Busra al-Sham corridor in the eastern countryside of Daraa witnessed significant commercial and humanitarian movement, as a new aid convoy entered the province of Sweida, while dozens of commercial trucks loaded with essential goods and food supplies crossed.

The twelfth humanitarian convoy arrived loaded with 200 tons of flour and 900 kilograms of salt, aimed at providing the needs of bakeries and ensuring the stability of bread production for the residents. The convoy included 11 trucks, 6 of which belong to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and 5 commercial trucks.

A security source at the corridor stated to the "SANA" agency: "All trucks are subject to thorough inspection procedures to ensure the safety of the goods and to prevent the smuggling of any prohibited or restricted materials," noting that "the process is proceeding smoothly without obstacles, as part of the ongoing government efforts to support residents in facing living and humanitarian challenges."

This activity comes after an improvement in security conditions and the reopening of the corridor, which had previously experienced a temporary closure, contributing to enhancing the flow of food supplies and humanitarian aid to local markets in Sweida. Government agencies and humanitarian organizations continue to coordinate efforts to ensure the ongoing flow of support to the region.
