A Mysterious Will Grants Neymar a Huge Fortune from a Brazilian Billionaire He Has Never Met

According to the British Daily Mail, Neymar, who is 33 years old, was named in an official will documented in Porto Alegre on June 12, in the presence of two witnesses, with the estimated value of the fortune being around £846 million. However, the execution of the will is still subject to the approval of the Brazilian judiciary, amid expectations of potential legal complications.
Local sources indicate that the deceased businessman chose Neymar as the sole heir due to his admiration for Neymar's close relationship with his father, which reminded him of his late father, in addition to the fact that the player is single and has no children, which made him feel a personal sympathy towards him.
So far, there has been no official comment from Neymar regarding these reports, which have sparked widespread controversy in media and sports circles, especially since the will is considered one of the strangest inheritance cases associated with a public figure.
Neymar is currently continuing his career with the Brazilian club Santos, having returned to his childhood team after a long professional stint with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Al-Hilal. He has scored three goals in 14 matches during the second half of the 2024–2025 season, while still being the all-time top scorer for the Brazil national team with 79 goals, despite being absent from the national team since his ACL injury in October 2023.
