Saudi Arabia has topped the G20 in safety indicators for the year 2023, according to data released by the General Authority for Statistics in the Kingdom. Based on the United Nations database for Sustainable Development Goals indicators, the data showed that 92.6% of the population feel safe when moving around at night in their residential areas.
This achievement reflects the efforts made by various government sectors in the Kingdom to enhance security and stability. These efforts aim to achieve a decent life for citizens and residents by enhancing security in various areas such as economic, food, environmental, health, social, political, technological, and cyber, in line with the goals of Vision 2030.
On the other hand, Saudi Arabia had secured the first place in the safety index within the G20 in the Sustainable Development Report for the year 2020. The safety index in the neighborhood is one of the indicators that measure the extent to which residents feel safe in their living environment, as part of the Family Socioeconomic Survey for the year 2023.
This achievement highlights the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing security and stability, reflecting a clear vision aimed at improving the quality of life for society and providing a safe and sustainable environment for all.
