800 More Await .. 70 Aid Trucks Enter Gaza to Alleviate Famine

Israeli media reported today, Thursday, that about 70 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid from relief organizations and the United Nations entered the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported this morning, Thursday, that "about 70 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered the northern area through the Zikim crossing yesterday, Wednesday, and to the southern Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing."
The authority confirmed that "all aid was transferred to the Gaza Strip after a thorough security check, and at the same time, the Israeli army coordinated with the United Nations and international organizations to collect more than 150 trucks from the Palestinian side of the Kerem Shalom crossing, as well as from the Zikim crossing."
The authority stated on its website that "the contents of more than 800 trucks are still awaiting collection from the crossings."
Israel resumed its shelling of the Gaza Strip on March 18th, after a halt of about two months, specifically since the beginning of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas on January 19th, following the failure of negotiations to extend the first phase of the agreement or move to the second phase.
