The Syrian Ministry of Sports and Youth dismisses a coach and two players from the women's basketball national team.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth issued a decision this morning, Saturday, April 5th, to exclude coach Ayman Suleiman, the coach of the women's basketball national team, in addition to players Sidra Suleiman and Nora Beshara from the current team lineup.

This decision comes as preparations are underway in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for the upcoming West Asia Championship set to take place soon in Jordan.

The decision was made following reports that the players were photographed in the national team uniform without the official flag, sparking controversy in the sports community.

The decision also includes banning the coach and players from participating in any sports activities during the current period.
