Jordan strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on various areas in Syria, calling on the international community to compel "Israel" to cease its illegitimate attacks on Syria and end the occupation of part of its territories. The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, emphasized that these attacks are a blatant violation of international law, a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty and unity, and constitute a dangerous escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region. Ambassador Al-Qudah reiterated the kingdom's absolute rejection and strong condemnation of the ongoing "Israeli" attacks on Syrian territories, in clear violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between "Israel" and Syria. He also reaffirmed Jordan's full solidarity with Syria, its security, stability, and sovereignty, and called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by compelling "Israel" to stop its provocative and illegitimate attacks on Syria and end the occupation of part of its territories. Ambassador Al-Qudah stressed the importance of "Israel" adhering to international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions that require respecting the sovereignty of states and refraining from interfering in their affairs.
