A ship loaded with heavy machinery and equipment arrived at the port of Latakia on the Syrian coast to support the transportation and logistics sector in Syria. The General Authority for Land and Maritime Ports announced the arrival of 147 various heavy vehicles, including truck heads, refrigerated vehicles, tanker trucks, trailers, and forklifts, aiming to enhance the heavy transport fleet and logistical infrastructure. The shipment is said to contribute to supporting import-export activities and improving supply chain efficiency, highlighting Latakia port's role in boosting the economy and facilitating the flow of goods. A video posted by the General Authority for Land and Maritime Ports showed a cargo ship named "Leader Trabzon" docking at Latakia port, with port workers unloading truck heads, refrigerated vehicles, and various cargo vehicles. According to maritime tracking data, the cargo ship "Leader Trabzon," currently sailing under the flag of Gambia, arrived at Latakia port on Tuesday, April 1, and departed towards the port of "Constanta" in Romania.
