The Syrian presidency issues a decree to grant a financial allowance on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
The Syrian Arab Republic Presidency issued Decree No. (68) for the year 2025, providing for a one-time financial grant on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, targeting employees in both the civilian and military sectors, as well as retirees.
According to the decree, a sum of 500,000 Syrian pounds (five hundred thousand Syrian pounds) will be disbursed to permanent, temporary, and daily wage workers in the state, whether civilian or military.
Meanwhile, an amount of 300,000 Syrian pounds (three hundred thousand Syrian pounds) is allocated for retirees, both civilian and military.
The decree stipulates that this grant is exempt from any taxes or deductions, to be implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, effective from the date of the decree.
This decision is part of the Syrian government's efforts to support its employees and alleviate their financial burdens in the current circumstances, enhancing the spirit of social solidarity and mutual support.
