In a qualitative step reflecting the growing international orientation of Riyadh Season, the General Entertainment Authority announced the signing of a strategic partnership between "Eight", the media arm specialized in producing audiovisual content, and the Spanish Football League "La Liga", during a signing ceremony held in the British capital London yesterday, Thursday.

Turki Al Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, affirmed that this new sponsorship is part of a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the global presence of Riyadh Season.
He considered the sponsorship of La Liga last year as a turning point, emphasizing that the new partnership strengthens this path and expands the season's international impact.
On his part, Javier Tebas expressed his happiness to cooperate with Riyadh Season and Eight, confirming that the partnership will contribute to enhancing the quality of audiovisual production for the Saudi Professional League, which he described as being professionally managed.
Tebas added:
"At La Liga, we believe in the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge to support the growth of football globally, and this partnership represents a practical step towards developing television broadcasting in Saudi Arabia to match the Spanish experience."

Under the agreement, La Liga will provide a range of advanced technical consultations and services to enhance the broadcasting standards of the Saudi league. The partnership includes:
_ Improving technical production, camera distribution, and sound quality.
_ Developing production methods using the latest technologies.
_ Creating a comprehensive production guide.
_ Enhancing stadium lighting distribution.
_ Training local crews to build sustainable professional capabilities.
The agreement also includes launching specialized training programs to build local competencies in the fields of audiovisual production, ensuring the transfer of experiences and knowledge from the La Liga team to the Saudi teams.
* Combating piracy and content development
The partnership extends beyond technical aspects to developing a comprehensive national strategy to combat digital piracy, in partnership with relevant authorities within the Kingdom, to ensure the protection of high-quality sports and entertainment content.
This project is overseen by La Liga President Javier Tebas, supported by an integrated team of experts in content production, project management, and regional coordination from La Liga's office in the Middle East and North Africa.
This partnership marks a milestone in developing the sports broadcasting system in Saudi Arabia, opening up new horizons for Riyadh Season to become a global platform for integrated entertainment and sports experiences.
