Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Raed Al-Saleh, expressed his gratitude on Friday to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the King Salman Center for Relief for their prompt response and support received over the past two days to assist the victims of the fires in Latakia province.
In a post on "Twitter," Al-Saleh added: "This assistance is a genuine Arab solidarity message that we are proud of and will contribute to enhancing response efforts and alleviating the suffering of our people in the affected areas."
He continued: "This support represents an important step towards building a strategic partnership between the King Salman Center for Relief and the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management to enhance cooperation in the areas of emergency response and dealing with emergencies and disasters in Syria."
