Minister of Health of Syria, Dr. Maysar Al-Ali, met with his Qatari counterpart Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud on the sidelines of the 78th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva on Friday. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of supporting Syria's efforts in rebuilding the healthcare system, especially in infrastructure, providing medicines, and medical supplies. Dr. Al-Ali highlighted the importance of benefiting from Qatari expertise in digital health transformation, organizing primary healthcare services, and community care to effectively meet the needs of citizens in various provinces, emphasizing the fraternal relations between the two countries. The Qatari Minister expressed readiness to support Syria's efforts in the discussed areas, confirming Doha's keenness to cooperate on future projects that directly benefit the Syrian people. The 78th session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, under the theme "One World, One Health," began on the 19th of this month and will continue until the 27th of the same month.
