Statement: Syrian Arab Red Crescent Volunteers and Their Vehicles Subjected to Multiple Violations in Southern Syria

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent issued a statement today, Friday, regarding the violations against its volunteers in southern Syria.

The statement said: "Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers and their vehicles have been subjected to multiple violations in the southern region". It added: "An ambulance was shot at, a warehouse was set on fire, and a number of vehicles were damaged nearby.

The organization expressed its regret in its statement, calling for the neutralization and protection of civilians and volunteers.

The statement affirmed the Red Crescent's commitment to neutrality, impartiality, and the continued provision of services in Sweida and Daraa.

The statement further added: "The safety of volunteers is a top priority for the organization".
