Saudi Arabia and the United States discuss the situation in Syria and call for respecting its sovereignty

Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Fahad bin Abdullah, renewed during a phone call with his American counterpart Marco Rubio, "Saudi Arabia's condemnation of Israeli attacks on Syria and interference in its internal affairs".

Prince Faisal bin Fahad, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency "SPA", emphasized the "importance of respecting Syria's independence and sovereignty, and the necessity of stopping Israeli attacks on its territories", stressing "the concerted efforts to support the Syrian government's measures to achieve security and establish the rule of law throughout its territories, preserving Syria's unity and achieving its civil peace".

The Saudi Foreign Minister also praised during the call "the efforts made by the United States to support the security and stability of Syria", according to the agency's statement.
