The Royal Oman Police announced the arrest and handover of a suspect to the Emirati authorities, as part of the ongoing security cooperation between the two countries.
The police clarified in a statement via their official account on the "X" platform that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Evidence was able, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior of the UAE, to successfully carry out the handover operation.
The relevant authorities did not disclose the identity of the suspect or the nature of the charges against him, merely confirming that the operation is part of efforts to enhance security and judicial cooperation, which strengthens stability and pursues wanted individuals across borders, in accordance with the agreements signed between Muscat and Abu Dhabi.
