Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, expressed his country's full solidarity with Qatar following the Israeli aggression that targeted Doha, affirming that the UAE stands by its side in preserving its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
During a phone call with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, he stated, "This brazen aggression represents a serious violation of international laws and norms and undermines the security and stability of the region."
The Israeli army had announced its responsibility for the attack that targeted leaders of Hamas in Doha, including Khalil al-Hayya, describing the operation as "retaliatory" and coming after the targeted individuals were accused of leading the movement's activities and participating in the events of October 7.
Israeli media confirmed that the raid was carried out precisely by the air force in cooperation with the "Shabak" agency, while sources told Sky News Arabia that it targeted a meeting of the movement's leaders abroad.
