The Ministry of Finance issued a new directive yesterday, Thursday, emphasizing the payment of salaries and wages to state employees by the 28th of each month, in a step aimed at organizing payment schedules and relieving pressure on financial and administrative entities.
The directive stressed the necessity of commencing salary payments from the 23rd of each month, ensuring that all payment processes are completed within a maximum of five days, i.e., before or by the 28th, taking into account official holidays that may fall within the specified payment period.
The directive included all administration accountants in public entities with administrative nature, as well as financial directors in public entities with economic nature, requesting their full compliance with the specified dates to ensure the smooth operation and financial stability for employees responsible for their work.
This step comes as part of the government's efforts to organize public spending and improve the financial and administrative performance in public institutions and entities.
