A meeting in Al-Hasakah discusses the implementation of the March agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, met with the member of the General Command, Rojhat Afrin, in Al-Hasakah city, with the head of the government committee responsible for monitoring the implementation of the March 10th agreement, Hussein Salameh, and committee member Mohammed Qanatry, as part of monitoring the executive path of the agreement signed between the two parties.
The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) explained that the meeting discussed enhancing de-escalation and cessation of hostilities in all Syrian areas, with a focus on the necessity of neutralizing the Tishrin Dam from any military operations, given its strategic and vital importance.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for forming a committee to monitor the forced return of displaced persons to their areas and ensuring the provision of protection and safe conditions for their return.
In a related context, a committee representing the northern and eastern regions of Syria in dialogue with the Syrian government was announced, including members: Fawza Youssef, Abd Hameed Al-Mehbash, Ahmed Youssef, Sanharib Barsoum, and Suzdar Haji, while Maryam Ibrahim and Yasser Suleiman were appointed as official spokespersons for the committee.
It is worth mentioning that the Syrian Presidency had announced on March 10th the signing of an agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces, following a meeting between Syrian President Ahmed al-Shar'a and Commander Mazloum Abdi.
The agreement included affirming the unity of Syrian territories, integrating the civilian and military institutions affiliated with the SDF into state structures, including border crossings, airports, and oil fields.
The agreement also ensured the rights of all Syrian components in participation and representation, recognizing the Kurdish identity as an integral part of the state fabric, in addition to supporting counter-terrorism efforts and rejecting any divisive projects or inciting speeches.
Among the agreement's provisions is also working on the return of displaced persons to their areas, with the commitment of the executive committees to complete the implementation of all provisions by the end of the current year.
