Malaysia Condemns Israeli Raids on Syria and Calls on the International Community to Act

Malaysia strongly condemned the recent Israeli raids on Syrian territories, considering them a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty and a breach of international laws.
This came in an official statement from the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published by the official Malaysian news agency "Bernama", where it affirmed that these attacks are contrary to international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and the UN Charter.
Kuala Lumpur called on the international community to "not tolerate Israeli attacks on other countries, as they pose a threat to regional and international peace and security".
Malaysia also urged the UN Security Council to "fulfill its responsibilities under the UN Charter, and act to stop the cycle of violence to contribute to peace and stability in the region".
Meanwhile, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim condemned these raids in a post on his official Facebook page, describing them as "a clear violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Israel and Syria".
Ibrahim affirmed that "Malaysia stands firmly with the Syrian people", calling for "respect for humanitarian principles and the rule of law".
