Lebanese Media: Fadel Shaker Decides to Surrender to the Judiciary Soon

Lebanese media sources reported that "close sources" to the artist Fadel Shaker stated that he has decided to surrender to the judiciary soon.
The website "onetv" also reported that "Fadel Shaker has decided to surrender to the judiciary soon, after being harassed by "Islamic" groups in the Ain al-Hilweh camp".
Regarding the harassment, the sources said it was due to his release of songs and recording them inside the camp.
They indicated that Fadel was threatened with murder and expulsion, and he will stop releasing songs until he leaves the camp.
Earlier, the Lebanese newspaper "Al-Akhbar" reported that there are discussions about eliminating the artist Fadel Shaker by religious extremists in the Ain al-Hilweh camp where he has been residing for 12 years, due to his backtracking on his repentance from singing.
The newspaper stated that "Fadel Shaker's return to artistic activity has sparked controversy, in light of his legal case. However, the return of the repentant artist to his former ways has taken a different turn in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, where he sought refuge after the battle of Abra in 2013".
These concerns played a role in accelerating Shaker's efforts to settle his legal case once again. The sources indicate that "his request is more serious this time. Discussions are underway with military intelligence on a mechanism to surrender himself as a first step, before his retrial".
