Two security forces members were killed today, Wednesday, as they were targeted by gunfire from unlawful groups near the Sweida - Daraa highway while carrying out tasks to enhance security and stability in the region. This comes amidst events in various areas in the countryside of Damascus, with violations by unlawful groups targeting security forces members, resulting in casualties including civilians. Israel also carried out several airstrikes since Wednesday morning in the Ashrafieh-Sahnaya area, under the pretext of protecting the Druze sect, considering its attacks as "warnings" to the Syrian government to protect minorities, especially the Druze monotheists.
