Jumblatt: Bedouins an Integral Part of Jabal al-Arab in As-Suwayda

Former president of the Lebanese Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt said today, Friday, that Jabal al-Arab in As-Suwayda is an integral part of Syria and some seek something else under the guise of protection, emphasizing that the Bedouins are an integral part of Jabal al-Arab in As-Suwayda.

Jumblatt condemned the Israeli attacks on Syria and Lebanon, and stressed the need for a ceasefire in As-Suwayda to engage in dialogue.

Jumblatt said: "I hope the people of the mountain do not tarnish the reputation of Sultan Pasha al-Atrash". He added: "We miss the presence of great men in As-Suwayda today".
