Iraq once again topped the world's countries in high temperatures today, Sunday.

According to a document published by the Iraqi media, "Iraqi cities, led by the city of Ali Al-Gharbi in the south of the country, topped the list of highest temperatures with 48.5 degrees Celsius, in addition to other southern cities like Nasiriyah, which ranked third."
