The process of releasing prisoners has begun between the "Internal Security" and "SDF" in Aleppo.

The Syrian Arab News Agency announced the start of a prisoner exchange operation between the Internal Security Directorate and the Syrian Democratic Forces in Aleppo. Approximately 250 prisoners are involved, according to "SANA". A committee from the Syrian Arab Republic Presidency and the Civil Council of the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya reached an agreement on Tuesday, April 1st, to settle the situation in the two neighborhoods in Aleppo. The agreement, consisting of 14 points, includes the withdrawal of military forces from the neighborhoods to northeastern Syria, a ban on armed manifestations in the neighborhoods, and the exclusive control of weapons by the Internal Security Forces under the Syrian Ministry of Interior. The latter is responsible for protecting the residents and preventing any attacks or violations against them. The agreement also recognizes Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya, predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods in Aleppo, as part of the city administratively, emphasizing the necessity of protecting and respecting the social and cultural privacy of the residents to enhance peaceful coexistence. Additionally, the agreement stipulates the exchange of prisoners captured after the liberation in Aleppo province.
