FIFA Lifts Ban on Two Iraqi Clubs

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has lifted the ban imposed on the clubs Nourouz and Karbala "after the reasons for it have ceased".
A statement from the Iraqi Premier League media office mentioned that "FIFA has decided to lift the ban on Nourouz club after settling all its financial obligations and completing the legal procedures".

The statement added, "FIFA has also decided to lift the ban on Karbala club after the specified period of the punishment, which lasted for two registration periods".

It is worth noting that FIFA imposed a ban on Nourouz club, preventing them from registering any new local and international players, due to the case of assistant coach Joao Filipe Vincente Silvano. Meanwhile, the ban on Karbala club was a result of a legal dispute with the Brazilian player (Lauder De Silva) who was initially signed on a contract but later excluded due to the coaching staff's dissatisfaction with his performance.
