Egypt: We will not allow the liquidation of Gaza or the uprooting of Palestinians

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty confirmed that Israel will not succeed in uprooting the Palestinian people from their land "no matter how much power it possesses," emphasizing that Egypt will continue its support for Gaza "to remain alive, regardless of who wants it or not."
This came during the event "Egypt's Response to the Humanitarian Catastrophe: Together to Keep Gaza Alive" on Wednesday evening, where Abdel Aty announced that the Rafah crossing will remain open around the clock to allow for the entry of aid and the transfer of the injured, calling on the international community to take responsibility and pressure to stop the war.
The minister stated that the famine in Gaza is "fabricated and a product of the occupation," describing what is happening as "deliberate genocide" aimed at turning the lives of two million people into hell to push them to emigrate. He added: "Silence is a crime, and defending falsehood is a shame that will haunt those who justify this catastrophe."
He also stressed that Egypt condemns the policies of occupation and its attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause, warning that international complacency threatens to plunge the region and the world into "utter darkness."
He confirmed the continuation of Egyptian efforts to stop the war and open a political horizon for a solution, praising the recent conference for a two-state solution, and calling for more European and Western recognitions of the Palestinian state, considering it a practical step rather than a symbolic one.
